Individual Note: Now this man seems an interesting character. I first found out about him as a spouse of a Canadian McMurray relative. Tracing him back to England, he seems to have married a much older woman, Mary Swindley, in 1897 and then debunked to Canada, leaving her behind - changing his profession from Tailor to religion and re-marrying to Sarah Jane "Jennie" McMurray in 1912 in Shelbourne, Ontario. Never trust Lancastrians

Here is a death match that matches her apparent age in 1901 Census (though could it be a transcription error??). Note however that Wolstencroft is fairly common in Oldham area.

Seaton Carew is on the coast just south of Hartlepool and near Greatham
"The parish of Stranton originally comprised the townships of Brierton, Seaton Carew, and Stranton; it was bounded on the north and west by the parish of Hart, on the south-west by Elwick Hall, on the south by Greatham, and on the east by the German Ocean. In 1841, Seaton Carew was constituted a distinct chapelry; and the district parish of Christ Church, West Hartlepool, situated in the north-east part of the township of Stranton, was formed in 1859. The civil parish of Stranton includes the town of West Hartlepool, and the district called Middleton."

Hello Michael
Sorry to have been so long replying
My William COLLINSON is the son of Thomas COLLINSON who is a younger brother of your William COLLINSON who married Mary SWINBANK
My William moved from being a lead-miner to the shipyards of West Hartlepool. He was there with his family for the 1841 Census
Have you had any contact with Desmond Gibson COLLINSON who still lives in Newbiggin, Middleton in Teesdale. He has done a lot of research
I was quite excited to see that you had gone back a generation before Joseph c.1702-1763
I have clicked on the 'allow ' button so that you can see what I have
Yours Aye
Maurice
