Individual Note: Constance Bolam was a life long friend of my grandmother, Pierine Elena Collinson nee Corte. Apparently the Collinsons and Bolams were friends - perhaps relatives somewhere. It was a male Bolam, ?John?, who told my Dad that his own father had died, when actually he'd run off. If I recall it right, Constance Bolam was a short, stout very jolly woman who lived with a much taller lady of about the same age in Lewes, Sussex - this would be the late 60s, early 70s.
