Believe Arthur was from Wolsingham or Stanhope. Arthur was going to live in the pub with Nora and Bert but was shot and died in around 1949.

     Assuming Polly Collinson, b c185 is not illegitimate, she is probably the child of a male Collinson- female Walace or Wallace marriage. Here is the only likely option (Oct 2007). Auckland registration area looks the most promising.

Trying to find information regarding my great grandmother Polly Robinson (nee Collinson) probably from the North East of England. Polly married an Arthur Collinson but this is all the information we have. We don't know who her parents were or if she had siblings. I would be grateful for any leads you may have. Anyway, yes, you were correct, there was a slip of the pen in my message - Polly Collinson married Arthur Robinson (unfortunately an even more common surname). We don't know whether Polly was her birth name or a shortened version - but it is all she was known as.
Polly and Arthur had quite a lot of children - as was the trend back then - and one of which was my grandmother Nora. Perhaps I should just give you access to my tree? I'm not sure about DOB for Polly. Sorry that I don't know more about that side of my family.
