This is the only possibility found for George Lauder's first wife (she appears as "Bettey" in the 1841 Scotland Census) but she was born in Selkirkshire so why marry here?? Does not seem likely. On the other hand George is shown as born in Selkirkshire when he was born in Berwickshire.

this is Jane Matthews (Harvey).
My great gradfather is Richard Benson Allinson born in Middleton Durham married to Elizabeth Maud Robley to have 5 boys include Fred Robley passed away infant? and one girl Cilla. One of their children Thomas Allinson is my grandfather married to Rene Gladys Payne they have 4 lives girls and one boy- died on baby. One of girls Christine is my mother.
Richard Benson Allinson's parents are Richard 1890 and Annie Collinson? I believe this surname of Collinson becasue they bring mother in law and nephew live with them in 1881 and 1891 cenus.
