Hi Michael I have Annie STAMP b 1884 married to George WELLS in my tree. They lived in Middlesbrough. Children included Robert, Ralph, Arthur, Margaret, and Mabel. Does this connect to your relatives? Regards Margaret

Michael
Thank you for replying to my email.
I have the marriage certificate of Annie STAMP and George Wells (26th June 1907, Middlesbrough Register Office) which shows that Annie's father was Ralph STAMP.I don't yet know her mother's name. The witnesses were Mabel STAMP and George ALLINSON, so the names are sounding familiar.
The address of Ralph and Annie STAMP (Palmerston Hotel, Newport Road, Middlesbrough) which is given on George and Annie's marriage certificate can be found online at the 'Picture Stockton' website which is http://picture.stockton.gov.uk and SEARCH for Newport Road.
I also have found the same info on the 1891 and 1901 census as you have, so I'll now go back and have another look and let you know if I find anything, and I will go through your notes carefully.
Thank you for the website address which I have looked at quickly and find very interesting. I will open my family tree to you, I don't know if you will get any information from it.
Kind regards
Margaret

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the post1901 information which has enabled me to complete Elsie's record. As she is female I don't bother to track her descendants. I can tell you that her father was John James Crone, her mother Frances Jane Sweetman and she had at least one younger sister Lily b.3Q1899 in Sunderland. Her father was a coalminer in Monkwearmouth and I have quite a lot of information on his family going back many generations. If you would like more then email me: amandapeart@@microport.co.uk and I will send you a file and/or census images with pleasure.
Thanks again for the info,
Regards,
Amanda
