Hi Michael You have three people in your tree that are also in mine Ann, Elizabeth and William Allison. They are brother and sisters and their parents were Robert Allison born c1790 and Tomasin Sheraton born c1790 Tomison had several brothers and sister, one of which was Lucy, She was my 5X great grandmother. I also have a Brother Robert for Elizabeth, William and Ann. Robert was born in 1822. I have traced this branch of my tree back to c1690 using parish records. Please get in touch Michelle

Hi Michael
Most of my reseach for this part of my tree was done using various parish records which are held in Hartlepool Central Library. I only live 5min walk away from the library so if I can be any help I'm planning a visit next week.
They also hold records for Hart, Elwick and Greatham.
Tomasin Sheraton was baptised at All Saints church, Stranton 5th August 1791. I have no date for Robert.
They were married 15 April 1816 at All Saints, Stranton.
At this time William Tate was the parish clerk, he was married to Tomison's sister Lucy.
Tomison's Parents were Ninian (Ninyan)Sheraton born 3-11-1741 Sedgfield (IGI) and Ann Kirby c1745
Ninian married twice, Ann was his second wife. He lived in the Mill in Stranton which is now where Camerons brewery now stands right next door to the church.
Ninion and Ann were married 14th May 1775 All Saints Stranton and he died at the Mill 24th October 1790. They had 6 children
