Individual Note: "Jane Wild" appears as the wife of Thomas Wild in the 18871, 1881 and 1891 Census and appears to have died in 1900 in East Grinstead. She was born in Somerset but the town changes and the 1871 entry is illegible, the most likely is Wheddon Cross, in the parish of Cutcombe. Her maiden name is possibly Bennett. A possible match was Hagger, married 1866 but their first child was born 1858 or 1859 so that seems out now. However, cross-referencing likely girls called Jane in Cutcombe in the 1814 Census, with FreeBMD marriages 1853-1869, comes up with Jane Bennett. Not certain, but certainly possible. The marriage to a "Thomas Wyld" is in London, which ties with POBs of first children, though is a little late for the apparent age of oldest children.
Note: her POB variously appears as "Wadding cross", "Whidding Cross", "Weddon" ... which do not exist. Cross-referencing them all, Wheddon Cross seems the most likely. Wheddon Cross is (now) in
