Hello Michael, Thank you for your response which confirms the connection via the Clevett family. If you look at my tree you will see reference to Nora Clevett and her family. Nora married Frederick James Giles (born1892 in Rowde, Devizes, Wiltshire, England) and they had 4 children namely Edith born 1926, Robert born 1928 ,Doris born 1930(who is still alive) and Florence born 1933.Frederick came from a large family and emigrated to Canada in 1913 with his brother Henry George Giles (born 1894) who married Bertha Roberts. The marriages of both Giles boys took place in Souris Manitoba where the Clevetts had obviously taken root.
The 2 Giles boys were first cousins to my husbands mother Margery Giles- the respective fathers having been brothers in another large family
Please feel free to take any details you require from my tree and if you have any questions please let me know
Regards Brenda

Hmm, everything matches ... except the DOBs, they are just strange. Wrong family? Shame, this would make Jane Gray the likely mother of Joseph and Isabella Collinson.
