Note for:   Amy Sarah Willats,   1874 - AFT MAR 1881         Index

Individual Note:
Amy Sarah Willats provides the link between a James Willats and Thomas Belton and is almost certainly the daughter of James. In 1861, Thomas is a lodger in the house of James Willats. In 1881, Amy is show as a niece staying with Thomas (James appears to have died in 1880). James and Thomas appear to have married sisters.

Individual Note:
Mother-in-law of Isobel Collinson. I haven't recorded the original source of her maiden name (Richardson) and DOB (c. 1899). The place of birth and altered DOB comes from the 1851 England Census.

Source - LDS IGI Individual Record:

Could this be her? The first daughter is also called Elizabeth but she consistently claims a c1799 DOB in census records. However a c1799 year would be perfect to claim to be of age when she married ? ?

The lists of Monumental Inscriptions on these pages have been kindly provided by the Weardale Field Study Society and are part of an ongoing project to transcribe all Monumental Inscriptions in Weardale and make them freely available to the public. The North Pennine Ancestors web site is grateful for the opportunity to assist with this project by publishing these lists.

The task of transcribing and the subsequent indexing of Monumental Inscriptions at Eastgate, Rookhope & Stanhope was carried out during 2005. This was followed in 2006 by Monumental Inscriptions in the Cowshill area. The work was made possible by a grant from the Countryside Agency for Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

With thanks to Margaret Manchester, members of the Weardale Field Study Society and other volunteers for the hard work put into this project.

Hi Michael.
We have contacted before and I have been looking at your tree. There seems to be a few discrepancies however.
I dont know if you have access to my tree but I will let you see it now
Jane Collinson married John Spark. She died of diabetes.
Son George died from diptheria
You have John Spark 1844 as dying in 1861. [MJC: actually "after 1861"] I think you must have meant that to be George death.
John 1844 is my gt grandfather

Bye.
