Hi Michael, just found you in hot matches and it looks like we have the same Thomas Stelling 1857. He is brother to my g g grandmother Mary Ann who married Thomas E Salt. If this is the right one their parents are Ed Stelling and Ann Collinson, which I notice is your surname too. I have researched this side of the tree, sending for certificates etc, but know nothing of them as my deceased grandmother and her brother knew nothing of their grandparents as their mother Isobel Salt ran away from Grimsby, where her father had moved to and he re-married after Mary Ann Stellings death. She ran to Fleetwood where her Aunt Frances lived with her husband. Is this the same family? Hope to hear from you soon.

My isabella was married to francis Tinkler (stanhope) does this fit in your tree at all?

Lorraine,
I didn't have enough information to tell so I have opened my tree for you. Her mother, a distant Collinson relative of mine certainly comes from a family that has ties with Stanhope and also, perhaps coincidently, Tinkler ancestors. I just did a little research though below and think they are two different people of nearly the same age (1881 Census). "Your" Isabella is born in Bishopton near Sedgefield and "my" Isabella in West Hartlepool.

Hi Michael You have three people in your tree that are also in mine Ann, Elizabeth and William Allison. They are brother and sisters and their parents were Robert Allison born c1790 and Tomasin Sheraton born c1790 Tomison had several brothers and sister, one of which was Lucy, She was my 5X great grandmother. I also have a Brother Robert for Elizabeth, William and Ann. Robert was born in 1822. I have traced this branch of my tree back to c1690 using parish records. Please get in touch Michelle
