This fits Philip Collinson's tree (starts with Jane Greenwell) into the main family tree. Looks as though husband and wife did not "get along".
Christened 27 Dec 1788 in Bowes, Yorkshire. Died 17 Sep 1887 Low Skelgill, Nr. Alston, Cumberland. Buried 17 Sep 1867 Low Skelgill, Nr. Alston, Cumberland. Married Jane Greenwell on 23 Jun 1824 in Middleton In Teesdale.
"He was a lead miner and carrier. They lived at High Dyke, Middleton [in Teesdale, Co. Durham], later moving to Skeers until 1851. By 1861 his wife was living at 'Craggs' with her sons Thomas and Joseph while he was living at High Dyke (housekeeper named Ann Anderson). He was living with his son, John, when he died."

Note this Rutland entry that might fit Joe Collinson's story about dau. Phoebe Collinson christened 20 Oct 1828 in Middleton. There does not appear to be a Middleton in Rutland, but it is hard to see how she could have got there.
