Hello Michael,
My great grandmother was Eleanor Collinson, the daughter of william Collinson, born in Ireland abt 1800 but married a Sarah? in Newcastle, by 1841 they were living in Wolsingham Co. Durham and had at least 10 children by 1843, William was a tailor/draper as were his sons one of whom was Thomas G the father of Joseph C who you have on your tree.
I think that Joseph started off as a tailor but by the age of30 he had married Jessie Humble also from Wolsingham and they had moved to Tottenham Middlesex where he was a journalist author,
If you have any further info I would love to know it. I always used to wonder why my grandad played all these irish songs on his squeeze box and now I think I can guess where he learn't them
