Hi Michael, I am not sure if I have been in contact before as I appear to be gaining several Burrow conections. My mother was a Burrow, a direct descendent of Joseph Burrow and Sarah Richardson. He had a second wife, Isabella Pearson who had a George who married a Mary (I haven't traced the surname. They in turn had a John Burrow born in Newbiggin in 1869, which I presume is the same as your John James If you have any further details or want to know any information, please let me know. GREGSON, COLLINSON.
(S). In m. Mary the beloved wife of John Gregson of Warcop who d. April 23, 1863 aged 71 y. Also of the abovenamed John Gregson who d. January 23rd 1874 aged 86 y., and of John their Son who d. March 12th 1873 aged 57 y. Also of Alice the beloved wife of William Collinson and da. to the above who d. September 20th 1880 aged 49 y.

Hi Michael
A 'John Gregson' shows on my husband's family tree. All we know about him is that he married a Mary Richardson in April 1813 and they had a daughter - also called Mary - who was born on 27.10.1816. Mary (John's daughter) married a John LOY of Worcop in May 1840 and they had a daughter called Mary Ann Richardson LOY who was born in April 1841 in Crosby Garrett. She is my husband's Great grandmother.......... but we don't believe that her husband John Ingram CLEASBY, was the father of her son (my husband's grandfather) who was registered as Alfred Graham CLEASBY (dob 21.3.1878)
If you think this may have any connection with your research, please let me know.
As a very recent member of Genes Reunited (last couple of weeks) I have only entered my husband's immediate family on our tree, so although your welcome to view it, it won't as yet, make any connection with yours.
