Hello Michael,

Just to get the ball rolling from my end........

Attached are copies of funeral cards for Elizabeth BUSSEY (formerly
COLLINSON) and her son Joseph Atkinson BUSSEY who died within 3 years of
each other. I have also attached a copy of Joseph's death cert. You might
want to add these to your records if you haven't already got them.

Elizabeth's husband, John BUSSEY, was born about 1823 in M-i-T the son of
William BUSSEY and Margaret (nee TARN). Before he married Elizabeth John was
married to Margaret BEACHIM on 26 November 1848 in M-i-T. They had three
children that I know of : Joshua (born abt. 1848 and, I suspect, died very
young), William (abt. 1850-1926) and John(abt. 1851-after 1901). After
Margaret died (sometime between 1851 and 1855) John married Elizabeth in
M-i-T on 22 March 1855 and they had children: Joshua(abt.1856),
Thomas(abt.1858-1884), Joseph Atkinson (1860-1919), Margaret (abt.1863) and
Alfred (1870-1942). Alfred and Joseph A. farmed at Birkhat farm,
Hunderthwaite and I have something in my papers (when I can put my hands on
it) that says they adopted a COLLINSON (I think a nephew of Elizabeth's but
not certain) who later changed his name to BUSSEY. As far as William
COLLINSON(born abt. 1853) is concerned, I don't know whether he was a child
from a previous marriage of Elizabeth or was born out of wedlock. If the
former, do you have anything on a previous marriage and Elizabeth's maiden
name?

Can you let me know what FT software you use? I use Legacy myself but if we
are not immediately compatible I think I can send you a GEDCOM or PAF file
of my BUSSEY tree if you would like it. It is quite lengthy now, so be
warned

Kind regards
Trevor.
