Individual Note: James, the father of Jane Ann Fell, appears to be the son of John Fell and Jane Mothersell. Although one of at least 7 children, by 1851 and 1861 he is the only one living with parents and appears to have taken over the 140 acre Easby, Yorkshire farm when his father retired and moved to Stokesley.
